Therapy
I strongly believe that the success of any therapy is dependent on the therapeutic relationship. It is of the utmost importance that you feel comfortable and a connection with your therapist. It is through this collaborative relationship that you will be able to understand yourself, reveal your innermost thoughts, gain a better understanding about how your relationships work and improve your interpersonal skills.
I specialize in both brief-solution focused therapy as well as long-term insight oriented therapy. My theoretical approach is interpersonal, relational and psychodynamic. I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples in a variety of different situations.
My practice is also geared at helping women who are struggling with pre and post partum disorders. Along with the chemical imbalances that occur with pregnancy and childbirth, motherhood is a huge adjustment and life change. It not only affects you, but can impact your children and relationship.
Midlife can present unique challenges, especially as women navigate the complexities of menopause and perimenopause. With a wealth of new information now available, I've immersed myself in understanding these hormonal shifts and their impact on both personal well-being and relationships. As children grow older and life transitions unfold, many couples and individuals that seek support during this period find it to be profoundly beneficial. It's a vital time for connection and understanding, ensuring everyone feels and supported.
